Interview with Ryan Ashley, Sales Consultant of Hitek Equipment, Inc. at SuperCorrExpo 2024.
Please tell us about your company and your product.
This is a semi-automatic system for storing rotary dies. It’s a very simple system. In fact, we had a ten-year-old child operating it two days ago.
You can select which die you want from the storage system. You hit “OK”, select the die size, and the system knows what size it is. Then, you choose the position on the cart and hit “Start”. After that, the system takes over and guides you on which direction to go. You just follow its instructions and stop when it tells you to stop.
Now, the crane will self-guide and center onto the column. You hold the buttons, and the crane will go inside, pick up the die, and pull it out. Then, it will guide you back to place the die onto the transfer cart to take it over to the machines. You’ll see it do the same thing again: self-center and lock. That’s it! It’s as easy as that.
Thank you so much. It was impressive!
Thank you!
