Interview with Alessandro Bersanetti, President of the company at SuperCorrExpo 2024.
Emmepi Group, headquartered in Italy, is a leading provider of materials handling systems and automation solutions for the corrugated board industry. The company offers a wide array of products, including plant logistics and handling, peripherals, strappers, wrappers, and robotic solutions.
Good afternoon! Tell me, how did you like the exhibition?

We are very satisfied with the success we’ve had, especially since this is our first time back after seven years. We are so happy with the results of the exhibition, particularly because many customers from South and Central America visited us.
Being Latin, it was easier for us to connect with them. We also made contact with American customers. Our group has worked very hard to reach this point, and we are very excited.
What news from Emmepi Group? Well, in the last two years, a lot has happened. I want to share some news from our company.
The most important development is that two years ago, we started a new division dedicated to robotics.
Now we have systems with robots for palletizing and multipoint machine orchestration. This is the fifth division in our group, and it completes our proposal for flow production.

At the end of July, we made an acquisition of a historical British company named Avanti, which we finalized with the owner, Simon Mander, a few months ago. We are very excited about this because it allows us to expand our presence in Northern Europe.
We also have some news about our new generation at Emmepi Group. We organized a virtual tour of our equipment here at the exhibition. Visitors can stay in the area and take a virtual tour of the equipment we produce around the world.
How does it work? Very well. You can put on some glasses and virtually enter one of our plants in Italy. You can look around and check each step of the flow production process that we provide. This is part of our sustainability efforts.
We started with small changes. For example, we no longer use classic business cards. Instead, we have a system that allows you to collect all information directly to your phone. This way, we reduce paper usage, which we prefer to use for making boxes, not business cards.
In Italy, the government has introduced new regulations for sustainability, and there are upgrades for companies to achieve Industry 5.0 standards dedicated to sustainability. We are working on this to create equipment that reduces energy consumption.
Thank you so much. Have a great show!
Thank you. It’s a pleasure to see you, and we appreciate everyone. Thank you.
