Interview with David Chen, Deputy Sales Manager (Division A).
What are the main trends you see in the corrugated board industry today, and how is your company responding to these challenges?
The corrugated board industry has been thriving for many years, and we believe it will continue to grow. To meet the increasing demands of clients, our company has focused on developing innovative technologies tailored to the industry’s evolving requirements.
Transpak Equipment Corp., founded in 1983 and based in Taipei, Taiwan, is a leading global manufacturer of strapping machines and tools. With operations in 100+ countries and 400+ distributors worldwide, the company delivers one of the industry’s most extensive product lines.
What new technologies or products are you presenting at this expo, and how can they improve production processes for your customers?
At this expo, we are introducing two new machines: the TP-702CQ3, an all-electronic high-speed strapping machine designed for high-capacity production lines; the TP-733VTSP ATLAS, a high-performance top-seal pallet strapping system with 2.5 tons of compression. This machine comes with customizable configurations, making it ideal for end-of-line production setups.
These machines address different production needs and enhance efficiency in various operational scenarios. Additionally, we plan to expand our product range with more innovative solutions in the near future.

In your opinion, what will be the biggest challenge for corrugated board manufacturers over the next five years, and how is your company helping them address these challenges?
Over the next five years, one of the biggest challenges for manufacturers in the corrugated board industry will be finding more efficient ways to operate, particularly with packaging and strapping machines. To tackle this, our company is committed to achieving technological breakthroughs.
We are integrating advanced technologies, including AI, into our new technology developments to help manufacturers streamline their operations and improve efficiency.

How does your company support sustainability and eco-friendliness in the corrugated board industry?
Sustainability is a core value for our company. We incorporate eco-friendly principles into the development of new technologies. For example, we use fewer spare parts to reduce waste, and our machines are designed for low voltage and energy efficiency, significantly reducing power consumption.
These initiatives are just a few examples of how we are contributing to a more sustainable future. We continuously innovate to meet emerging environmental requirements.
What message would you like to share with corrugated board manufacturers worldwide who are watching this report?
The corrugated board industry will continue to evolve positively, driven by increasing demand for corrugated boxes, particularly due to the growth of online shopping. We are committed to driving innovation and developing new products to meet these growing demands and support manufacturers worldwide.
Could you show us the new machines you’ve brought to the expo?
Let me introduce the TP-733VTSP, a top-seal pallet strapping machine with 2.5-ton compression. It’s available with either a single or dual strapping head configuration.

The machine we are showcasing has two strapping heads and three lances which are adjustable, allowing manufacturers to easily modify positions for enhanced flexibility.
The innovative automatic strap feeding system simplifies operations for corrugated board manufacturers making production processes more efficient.
Thank you for your time. Thank you for the interview!
