“The customer is very pleased with the fast and easy installation and start-up process and has no complaints about the machine so far,” says Giovanni Bettini, Head of Sales of Corrugating Machinery Division at MHI EMEA.

“This is the second EVOL line that the Klingele Group has installed – the first one was at their Delmenhorst plant. The company opted for the EVOL because of its high speed and excellent folding quality. These are two aspects that our customers appreciate about the EVOL.”
The new EVOL 100 for the Hilpoltstein site has been equipped with an MPF pre-feeder, which allows the machine to run at maximum speed of 350 blanks per minute. The line also features Mitsubishi’s DBEC, an automatic system with conveyor to eject bundles with defective boxes, and a robot palletiser from MuK, a German company specialised in end-of-line solutions. The machine can handle a wide range of sheet sizes, from 250 x 690mm to 950 x 2555mm, and can print, die-cut, fold and glue boxes in a single process.
The machine was successfully installed and started up in July, and has been running on 2-3 shifts per day for over four months.
