The new machine will produce 420,000 tonnes of recycled containerboard annually, made from 100% recovered fiber. These containerboard grades are designed for lightweight corrugated solutions, supporting cost-efficient and environmentally friendly packaging for eCommerce and consumer goods.
Mondi is committed to local sourcing, reducing greenhouse gas emissions through shorter transport distances, and strengthening supply chain resilience. The Duino mill’s integration into Mondi’s operations will further enhance security of supply for customers.
