Acimga (Confindustria), the Italian association representing manufacturers of printing, converting, and packaging technologies, has announced its new leadership team following the General Assembly held on May 29, 2025, at Print4All – Fiera Milano.

Marco Calcagni Appointed as President
The assembly elected Marco Calcagni (OMET Srl) as the new President of Acimga, bringing his extensive industry expertise to guide the association in the next four years. His vision aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Italian technology, expand international markets, and foster innovation across the sector.
Vice Presidents Announced

Alongside Calcagni, three Vice Presidents were appointed to lead key strategic areas:
Simone Bonaria (BFT Group) – Responsible for relations with industry associations representing printers and converters.
Giorgio Petratto (Petratto S.r.l.) – Contributing his experience in industrial innovation and market development.
Marco Bertola (Fosber S.p.A.) – Bringing expertise in corrugated packaging technology and automation.
Each member of the newly elected leadership team is committed to reinforcing the global position of Italian printing and packaging technologies while promoting Made in Italy excellence.
Commitment to Industry Growth

Newly appointed Vice President Simone Bonaria expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and emphasized the importance of collaboration, saying:

A special acknowledgment was given to former Presidents Daniele Barbui and Aldo Peretti, whose contributions have laid a solid foundation for future developments.
