“The ChromaCUT X Pro, capable of processing sheets up to 2.8 meters wide, features advanced automation and a new presettable rotary die-cutter,” says Herve Dehaynin, Technical Coordinator at Saica Group.

“These enhancements simplify operations for machine operators and improve overall efficiency. The machine also includes a register control system and post-print inspection, ensuring high-quality output.“
The Saica Group has successfully commissioned the first Koenig & Bauer Celmacch ChromaCUT X Pro machine at their Thrapston plant in England.
This installation is part of Saica’s broader strategy to future-proof its machine park. Over the past year, Saica has heavily invested in corrugated converting machines from Koenig & Bauer Celmacch, with new systems gradually going into production.
Four ChromaCUT X Pro machines will be installed across England, Portugal, France, and Italy, while two Chroma HighTech machines will be delivered to Saica’s sites in Spain.
Founded in 1943 in Zaragoza, Spain, Saica Group has grown into a major player in the packaging industry. Saica Group operates over 50 corrugated packaging plants across multiple countries, including Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, the UK, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, and the United States. Saica Group operates more than 10,000 employees.
