Interview with Cy Davies, European Technical Manager of Absolute Engineering at FEFCO 2023.
We are here at FEFCO. Cy, how do you like the show?
It’s a great show. It’s my first time here, so I’m really enjoying meeting all the people within our industry, some great people and some really interesting contacts.
What did Absolute bring here today? What would you like to tell your customers about?
Today we have brought our four main products from Absolute, which are InkSave, 2Gchamber. And we have two versions of our Sono ultrasonic cleaning system.
What are your goals after the exhibition? After the show, what would you like to achieve?
I think for us the goals are not only to sell our products, but also to build long-term relationships with the right contacts, the right companies, and the right people. We’re always looking to expand our business and reach new markets. We’re always looking to offer our products to the corrugated industry so they can achieve the savings and the quality that we guarantee.
How did Absolute perform in 2023? Like what were your goals and what did you achieve?
2023 was a busy year for us. The goal was to be busy all year and we have been very busy. Sono is our latest product. So for the back end of 2023, the goal was to start making sure that Sono was developed and promoted in the right way, which we believe we have. We’ve got two very solid products now in Sono.
Maybe something else you would like to tell your customers, to the people, or about you?
Firstly, I’d like to thank all our customers, big and small, for working with Absolute throughout the years. We’re happy to work with everybody from OEMs to small companies. We’re also happy to work with new partners too. So, we’re here, we’ve got great products, and we’d love to meet you.
