Bresky took over as the company’s CEO in December 2019, and has served as a member of the Group Leadership Team since joining the company in 2017. Before assuming her current position, she was Executive Vice President of Stora Enso’s Consumer Board Division. Prior to joining Stora Enso, she held various executive leadership positions, including President and CEO of Iggesund Paperboard AB in 2013-2017 and Managing Director at BillerudKorsnäs AB from 2010-2013.
Bresky is a Board member of the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI), the Swedish Forest Industries Federation (Skogsindustrierna), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and Ørsted A/S. She is also a member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) and the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
She holds an Honorary Doctor of Technology from Lappeenranta–Lahti University of Technology (LUT) since 2022. Bresky was awarded the RISI Woman of the Year PPI award in 2022.
Bresky holds an Executive MBA and a M.Sc. in Aquatic and Environmental Engineering.
The TAPPI/PIMA award will be officially presented at TAPPICon, April 22-26, 2023 in Atlanta, USA.
