“We’re known for our expertise in custom packaging solutions, and our capabilities need to match this value proposition at all times. This is where the new BOBST die-cutters come in.” says Kurt Koloseike, President and CEO of S. Walter Packaging.
“Our value proposition across SWPG is speed, quality, price, and service. We deliver that value both through our traditional sourcing network and through our high-end manufacturing presence in the Midwest.”
Two new BOBST VISIONCUT 106 LER flatbed machines have bolstered the die-cutting platform at S. Walter Packaging Group (SWPG), as the US company prepares to celebrate 120 years in business in 2024. Installed at its LPI division in Milwaukee, the die-cutting duo is part of SWPG’s strategy to continue growing through improved efficiencies for its folding carton, rigid boxes, and other specialty packaging production.
As SWPG charts a new path of growth through its strategic investment program including the recent enhancement of the die-cutting department, Kurt reflected, “Every investment we make must empower us to deliver faster, provide top-notch solutions, and maintain competitive pricing, all wrapped up in exceptional service. It is precisely for these reasons that we rely on BOBST as a key technology partner.”
Founded on the principle of growth through innovation, SWPG traces its roots back to 1904 when prominent Philadelphia businessman Simon Walter established the company. His ambitions were fulfilled. Today, the premier packaging solutions company serves the needs of more than 40,000 large and small brands in the food and beverage, spirits, beauty and cosmetic, and other consumer product segments.
