A curious case occurred at IndiaCorr Expo 2022 (Mumbai, October 8-10). Two flatbed die cutters and three folder-gluers were sold solely on charisma of the company’s MD (pictured). All deals were signed on the sidelines of the exhibition
“We did not have a booth at the expo, but I spent all three days at the Bombay Exhibition Center to communicate with visitors and buyers. The five deals were signed and closed during these three days,” says Puneet Aggarwal, Managing Director at DGM India.
The deals included two Technocut 1050S flatbed die cutters, two Technofold and one Smartfold folder-gluers. All customers are local, one machine goes to North India, and the rest to West India.
Puneet Aggarwal took charge of DGM India at the end of 2018. Since then the company has shown steady growth and also increased the number of employees. Currently, the company has 17 employees, 12 of which are service engineers.
Earlier this year, DGM India showed its equipment at PrintPack 2022 in Greater Noida (east of New Delhi, India), where the company sold five flatbed die cutters, one hot foil stamping machine and nine folder-gluers.
