Interview with Alessandro Bersanetti, President and Alberto Fioriti, CEO of Emmepi Group at FEFCO 2023.
How do you like the show?
Alessandro Bersanetti: We have participated in the FEFCO technical seminars several times across Europe. This year was very interesting because a lot of customers came, and we feel that the event is very successful.
What did Emmepi bring to show this year?
Alessandro Bersanetti: You know, for Emmepi Group it is not easy to choose which of our products we can show at the exhibition, because we have solutions that cover any aspect of production in the corrugated cardboard market. But this time we focused on two projects. The first one is the robotic systems that serve the folding-gluing lines. We launched the robot production division in January of this year. The second one is the two-level finishing. This is an absolutely innovative solution for this kind of unit.
Machines to palletize outgoing boxes of the folder-gluer and the casemaker.
With the new Robotica division, specifically created for robots, Emmepi Group has designed two new robotic palletizers, developing new concepts of “clamp” to palletize most types of boxes coming out of the folder gluer and casemaker.
What are your expectations after the exhibition?
Alessandro Bersanetti: In general, we already have a lot of work. But we are here to strengthen relations with large companies and corporations. To keep our old friendship.
One more question I have: how did Emmepi go through 2023?
Alessandro Bersanetti: In 2023, we not only had a record turnover, but also, as I said earlier, we launched a new production. We upgraded all parts of our building, production areas and office I think by 360 degrees around there was nothing left that we did not improve.
What is your competitive advantage?
Alessandro Bersanetti: I think we are exactly the company that can give the customer everything they need to improve their production flow from start to finish.
Alberto Fioriti: Our message to customers is that we do not sell machines, but the idea of the perfect production flow.
You probably have the busiest booth at the seminar. Are you celebrities?
Alessandro Bersanetti: (laughs) Yes, good thing it’s the end of the seminar! The first two days were to busy!
Thank you for the interview and for your time!
Thank you, Adam!
