💬 “Favalessa’s equipment ranks among the world’s most popular in the realm of peripheral corrugated solutions. Since 1970, it has been operating reliably across hundreds of manufacturing plants worldwide — installed, standing, and performing without fail,” says Alessandro Bersanetti, President of Emmepi Group.

“Favalessa’s machines have been a global benchmark in peripheral technology. Their addition closes a strategic gap in our lineup and strengthens the overall flexibility and performance of our offer.”
Emmepi Group has officially completed the 100% acquisition of Favalessa Systems, marking a pivotal moment in its strategic expansion within the industrial peripheral equipment sector. However, widely available equipment on the secondary market—e.g. listings of loaders, prefeeder units from 1990s–2000s across Europe and Asia—indicates Favalessa machines were installed in many dozens to possibly hundreds of plants globally, especially in Europe and parts of Asia.
Favalessa became renowned in the corrugated sector for high-quality peripheral machinery tailored to box‑plant lines:
• Their LOADER ALS 110 pre-feeder, with up to 2400 mm sheet width and throughput ~15,000 sheets/hour, was especially widely adopted by mid‑ and large‑scale converters.
• The brand was known for stackers, separators, palletisers and vacuum units, designed to integrate with major corrugator lines from OEMs like BOBST, etc.
With this merger, Favalessa Systems becomes the Peripheral Equipment Division of Emmepi Group, integrating its technological expertise and innovation into Emmepi’s broader industrial ecosystem.
The acquisition coincides with the opening of Emmepi Group’s new 9,000 m² production facility in Pieve di Soligo (TV), Italy. This state-of-the-art site will centralize all operations of the Peripheral Equipment Division, reinforcing Emmepi’s commitment to delivering integrated turnkey solutions.
All technical and specialized personnel from Favalessa Systems will be retained, ensuring continuity and the preservation of valuable know-how. The merger promises a more innovative and responsive product lineup, tailored to evolving market demands and backed by Emmepi’s hallmark of excellence.
