Dario, what is your company about?
We are manufacturers of spare parts and consumables made of urethane, dedicated to the corrugated cardboard industry. We produce anvil covers as well as any other PU products intended for corrugators and converting machines.
What did you bring here, is there anything new?
We brought some technical innovations in finishing, locking sections, a new system of free idle bearings called Free Roto. These are products that combine the advantages of existing systems on the market while giving solution to their disadvantages. We have also developed an impressions counter, called Powear, that increases the lifespan of anvil covers while contributing to the improvement of the quality and performance of the machines.
How did you do in 2022?
Despite the difficult situation with the war and the shortage of raw materials, price speculation and so on, we cannot complain because the global corrugated board market was still growing. We are a global brand, so we can benefit from growing markets such as Central and South America or the United States where we have just started operation, and some other countries such as Australia and India, offsetting a slight slowdown in the European market.
What do you think about the future?
We take this positively, with the exception of big questions about the situation in the world, especially in connection with the war. We don’t know how this will affect the cost of energy resources and raw materials. There is a short-term view of what will happen in the market but there are some areas where we can say we are positive and where we can still grow. In the first three months of 2023, we have already increased our turnover by 14%, so the trend is positive, despite the big questions that still remain open.
