Interview with Taras Bliakhivskyi, Cardboard packaging Sales Manager.
We have a few questions. What are the main trends you see in the industry today and how is your company responding to these challenges?
One of the main trends, in my opinion, is sustainability. Ecology is now coming to the forefront, especially in Europe. Everyone is trying to use as little plastic as possible in packaging and make it as environmentally friendly as possible. Packaging is one of the most important components in the world, as every product needs packaging.
We also strive to be eco-friendly, and all our products are environmentally friendly. We make them from cardboard, have all the necessary certifications, and they are fully recyclable and made from recycled materials.
Taras, what new technologies or products are you presenting at this exhibition and how can they improve the lives of businesses in this industry?
At this exhibition, we are presenting our cardboard pallets. They are lighter than wooden ones, weighing six kilograms, which significantly reduces operational costs for companies. However, lightness does not mean weakness – they can withstand loads of up to three tons. This makes them ideal for a wide range of industries. The pallets can be used on all types of racks and systems.
They are fully certified in Europe and made from environmentally friendly materials that are 100% recyclable. This meets modern ecological requirements and reduces the carbon footprint. Additionally, we offer custom-sized pallets to meet the needs of each client. They are suitable for the pharmaceutical, food, and electronics industries. This solution not only reduces logistics and operational costs but also supports the environment, which is now a priority.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge for manufacturers in the next five years? How is your company helping them address these challenges?
One of the biggest challenges at the moment is the price of waste paper. They are constantly changing, and every company is trying to adapt to these fluctuations. We have a closed production cycle – we recycle waste paper ourselves, make raw materials from it, and then produce the final product. This slightly eases the situation for us, but these fluctuations are still challenging for many companies.
What message would you like to leave for manufacturers around the world who are watching this interview?
I would say: stay environmentally conscious. Do everything possible to make this world more environmentally friendly, as environmental pollution is a huge problem at the moment.
