Generational change brings new faces to the Executive Board.

Dr. Stephen Kimmich, previously CFO and Deputy CEO, will take over as CEO of Koenig & Bauer during the Annual General Meeting on June 4, 2025. Dr. Andreas Pleßke, the outgoing CEO, will continue contributing to the group before retiring later this year.
Having joined Koenig & Bauer in 2020, Dr. Kimmich brings 25 years of global industrial experience in mechanical engineering and the automotive sector. His leadership has been pivotal in areas like finance, IT, and strategic M&A. Most recently, he expanded his role to include oversight of the Special business segment as a Member of the Executive Board.
Dr. Alexander Blum will assume the role of CFO on July 1, 2025. With two decades of financial expertise across industries like IT, logistics, and mechanical engineering, Dr. Blum’s background spans family-owned businesses, private equity-led companies, and publicly traded organizations.

This leadership transition aligns with Koenig & Bauer’s broader restructuring strategy, which includes streamlining its business segments and reducing the size of its Executive Board.
