Please tell us about your company and your products.
We are a European machinery company based in the north of Spain.
Here, we can see our four lines of products. Our first business, which we started several years ago, was converting machinery, including flexo folder gluers and rotary die cutters. We have since developed three additional product lines.
Macarbox is a European machinery manufacturer specializing in converting machinery for corrugated board. Based in Arrona, Pais Vasco, Spain, the company is known for its high-quality, technologically advanced equipment designed and manufactured.
We have corrugators, with several complete lines operating around the world. In recent years, we developed our digital machines, including a single-pass water-based digital printing machine and a digital cutting machine.
The laser machine can process sheets of 1.6m by 3.5m. We handle everything from laser cutting to scoring and marking. It has been a great show here.
Beautiful machine. You know the word sustainability. Do you have something like this?
Sustainability is a key factor in the industry. For instance, digital printing allows us to save a lot of water. Digital cutting also allows us to optimize packaging to the content, creating the exact size of the box needed each time.
Sustainability is important, and at Macarbox, we design our machines with this in mind.
Can you show me this box? Is it digital?
Yes, this box is printed with our water-based single-pass digital printing and cut with our laser machine. Both the cutting and scoring are done with laser.
As you can see, there is a perfect match between print and cut. Our machine can detect where the print has been done and ensure a perfect match.
Is this done in line?
We can do both in-line and separate processes.
What do you mean by all of this?
This is all done with laser cutting. As you can see, we can achieve cutting details that are very difficult with a mechanical die. No mechanical die is required.
This is amazing.
We can handle single wall, double wall, and folding carton. These parts of the folding carton are also done with the laser.
Can you make micro flute?
Yes, up to eight millimeters. Double wall is no problem.
