“We have a tradition of giving to a good cause at Christmas. This year, as we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we continue this tradition,” says Peter Marbach, Owner & Managing Director of the company.
Last year, under the slogan “Donations instead of gifts”, Marbach supported aid projects related to the war in Ukraine. Since this issue is sadly still relevant, we will also support an aid project of the organisation “Help – Help for Self-Help e.V.” in Ukraine with most of our donation (8,000 euros) in 2024. Another 2,000 euros go to the Wartberg School in Heilbronn. In total, we donated 10,000 euros.
“We are especially happy that the German Federal Foreign Office recognizes the value of the project of the aid organization Help that we are supporting and is funding it by 90 percent. The Marbach donation makes up Help’s own 10 percent contribution and will thus be multiplied by ten. In simple terms, this means: 8,000 euros in donations generate 80,000 euros in aid money. Together with the donation to the Wartberg School, this means that a total of 82,000 euros will reach people who need it.”
