Having worked for the company for about 22 years, since 2016 Marco Bertola has headed Fosber Asia. Since 2014, Fosber Group has been part of Guangdong Dongfang Precision Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Dongfang Precision)
“I started at the company in 1998 as a junior mechanical engineer,” he says. In 2000, after a one-year break for military service, he continued to work as a mechanical design engineer for 6 years.
“During these years I have been able to visit many Fosber customers, which has allowed me to deepen the knowledge of our market, until we get to be able to design and realize parts of machines and complete machinery, following the production and installation phases.”
In 2008, Marco took over as production manager and subcontracting process controller for 7 years before being assigned to China.
“I was responsible for external production, building an outsourcing network of partners for mechanical and electrical production. I also formed a team of technicians who supervised the production flow and checked the output quality of our machines.”
Having secured the company’s success in China, Marco Bertola returned to Italy to the Fosber HQ in Lucca.
