“I am excited about Menasha’s focus on modernizing their network, and their intent to build a more strategic relationship with Highcon with these efforts. We hope the end result is multiple Highcon systems being installed across Menasha’s production facilities” says Shlomo Nimrodi, CEO of Highcon.
“Our partnership with Menasha is recognition once again of the important role that Highcon can play in the evolving and growing paperboard packaging market. I am very proud.”
Menasha Packaging Company LLC, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation, has acquired two Highcon Beam 2 Digital Die Cutting machines to be installed at one of its packaging plants in North America. Menasha Corporation is a multi-billion dollar company that was founded more than 170 years ago and has about 7,000 employees and 100 locations in North America and Europe.
This is a milestone for Highcon after a thorough investigation by Menasha, and a strong partnership with Highcon’s US go-to-market team and Highcon’s representative, Sun Automation. It’s the first time that a customer has bought two Highcon Beam systems at once for installation at the same location. The deal signifies the company’s most successful year for selling Highcon Beam 2 systems for folding carton applications, a key element in the company’s strategy for the drupa year.
