“FACHPACK 2024 offers a great opportunity for meaningful conversations with our customers and partners about the future of sustainable packaging,” says Marjo Halonen, VP Communications at Metsä Board.

“We’re looking forward to launching our new “Sustainability Hub” concept for the event. Our dedicated experts will be on hand to guide attendees through the complexities of sustainable packaging, helping them understand how our solutions can support their sustainability goals.”
Visitors to the “Sustainability Hub” will have the opportunity to engage directly with Metsä Board’s experts, who will be on hand to answer questions and offer insights on a wide range of topics, including carbon footprint calculations, life cycle assessments, reducing the use of plastic, easy recycling, responsible forestry practices, and the company’s comprehensive 360 Services offering.
In addition to expert consultations, Metsä Board will present its folding boxboards and white kraftliners, known for their light weight and strength, highlighting their role in enhancing resource efficiency and reducing material usage.
Visitors can learn more about Metsä Board’s recyclable and compostable dispersion barrier board and how it can help reduce plastic in several applications. Metsä Spring will also be co-exhibiting at the stand and will showcase their Muoto™ 3D fibre packaging solution, which can be used in various applications such as food service, takeaway, and food packing.
