Hello Aki, what do you have for corrugated producers here?
Valmet is a global company whose core business is in the pulp and paper industry. Our offering includes innovative paper making technologies, services and mill-wide automation systems.
For the production of corrugated board, we have unique quality control systems based on moisture measurements. I think that today we are the only supplier on the market who can deliver reliable moisture control system to you.
Very traditionally, the corrugated process has been controlled according to temperature and speed curve-related controls. We have online moisture readings and we can control the behavior of the paper throughout the process, which is the key to stable quality.
We have many very exciting solutions and new business opportunities for quality control of corrugators as well as printing presses and other paper-related processes battling with moisture issues.
…2022 has gone smoothly for Valmet. With revenue of just over 5 billion euros, I think this is the record year for the company. As far as Automation Systems Business Line is concerned, we also had a really good year overall.
I would like to encourage corrugated board manufacturers to take the next step in quality control. Moisture changes cause paper dimensions to change, and this is the key to controlling the process.
