Rustem, what is the key idea behind the Ixs-pal palletainer?
Large-sized transport corrugated packaging is a rather bulky type of packaging. It is clear that such packaging requires a pallet or a base that allows mechanized movement of large-sized packaging. But most manufacturers of large-sized packaging supply only the packaging itself. And product manufacturers have to buy pallets separately for such packaging.
Let’s consider packaging in a fairly popular size in Europe – 800 mm by 600 mm – half of a standard euro pallet.
Customers who use large-sized packaging in this perimeter mostly buy either reusable pallets – plastic or wooden with metal supports, or new disposable ones.
The principle of operation of the Ixs-pal pallegator is designed in such a way that it allows you to quickly and technologically make both a full-size corrugated pallet and a half-size one.
In this case, the packaging supplier can ship its large-sized packaging in a kit: packaging plus a base in the form of ½ corrugated pallet Ixs-pal – the so-called Ixs-pal palletainer.
The demonstrated visualization showed that the packaging and the pallet can be connected quite firmly and elegantly, without using additional materials. If this is an Ixs-pal palletainer, then everything is quite simple.
And in this case, the client will not need to buy new expensive ½ wooden or plastic pallets. It will be profitable for him to get everything in a kit: cardboard packaging and cardboard base.
An additional advantage is that the Ixs-pal palletainer is made entirely of recyclable materials. This is eco-friendly, this is modern. This is responsible.
I mean the responsibility of any manufacturer to society.
It is important that cardboard is a secondary recyclable material.
If you disregard the size variation, is there an economic benefit of a cardboard pallet over a wooden or plastic one?
This is if the client is suitable for using the Ixs-pal pallet, because it has certain limitations in use. Cardboard does not like wet floors, and so on.
Therefore, if all this fits, then, I think it will be economically feasible for the manufacturer to use the Ixs-pal palletainer.
If we talk about specific numbers, then we need to proceed from a specific market. For example, on the Russian market there is no such thing as a secondary market for wooden pallets in the size of 800 mm by 600 mm and as a rule they offer only new ones. Their cost is 500-600 ₽/pc, this is a rough estimate. While ½ corrugated pallets Ixs-pal cost 150-200 ₽/pc.
These are approximate price layouts in my understanding.
It is worth considering that cardboard pallets are lighter in weight by themselves and, accordingly, in circulation.
And as we already said, they are recyclable. You can hand over waste paper and additionally earn money by selling cardboard pallets.
Again, there are no phytosanitary restrictions. Very convenient for export. Light weight. All the charms, plus economic feasibility.
Again, in the ixs-pal system itself, it is very easy to form a size of 800 mm by 600 mm. If we produce a whole pallet from four base parts, then, accordingly, two bases give us half.
Therefore, without reducing the productivity of the palletizer, you can easily rebuild it for the production of such half pallets.
