In May 2022, the Brazilian corrugated packaging producer has launched its second EVOL inline. Before the end of the year, they turned to MHI for another EVOL 100 FFG with Dual Slotter and four print units
“Penha have had great success with the first EVOL 100 which they took delivery of in 2017,” says Giovanni Bettini, Sales Director, MHI EMEA. “The second machine, which is equipped with the Dual Slotter unit, was commissioned in May and within a matter of days, the operators were running the new machine at full speed successfully.”
“We are pleased with the relationship with Penha and it is nice to see the machines are kept in a great condition. Their operators and maintenance engineers are dedicated and motivated to running the EVOLs at maximum speed and they are fully supported by the excellent management team.
“During the sales visit, members of MHI EMEA were able to see the original EVOL running at 350 boxes per min, as well as watching the Mitsubishi SH350 corrugator running consistently at 350 mpm.
“Considering the corrugator was installed 10 years ago, it is testament not only to the build quality of the machine, but also the way in which Penha maintain all their equipment. They are the ideal customer!”
