Good morning! Tell us about your company.
Signode is an end-of-line packaging and automation provider for the corrugated industry. We have a full portfolio that spans traditional strapping for packaging bundles and unit loads, whether those are bundles, sheets, or bales of corrugated material.
We have a long history of strapping for the corrugated industry, but in addition, we offer a full portfolio of end-of-line solutions for transit packaging and automation to streamline your operations.
On the screen, you can see a full automation line that features everything Signode has to offer. This includes bundlers coming out of the flexo-folder-gluers, robotic palletizers with the Simplimatic® brand of automation solutions, and our innovative GCU Unitizing Strappers for unitizing bundles and sheet loads on pallets or as bales. These can be protected with five-sided protection using stretch film, automatic stretch wrapping, ring wrapping, and automated hooding systems.
We also have autonomous mobile robots that can deliver pallets and loads throughout your end-of-line operations and into automated storage and retrieval systems with our StorFast® brand. When you think about Signode, think about a full portfolio for end-of-line operations to ensure your product is protected and reaches your customers with all the value you put into it.
Signode is a leading global manufacturer of transit packaging consumables, tools, software, and equipment that optimize end-of-line packaging operations and protect products in transit.
Let me show you a couple more things. Here’s an example of the SIG-CORR bundler for crash lock boxes that come in shingles. It can be automated to organize, strap, and bundle these for transportation.
We also offer custom protective packaging solutions using corrugated materials to protect packages inside other packages.
Our equipment uses the Internet of Things to remotely monitor performance, allowing us to be proactive with maintenance and service to increase your uptime and maintain throughput.
Lastly, we have an integrated line of strapping units. You can see bales of sheet loads and a pallet with bundled bundles stacked on it. Our innovative strapping unit can secure your load for transportation and distribution. With up to six strapping heads for redundancy and flexibility, it has sensitive compression in the platen to minimize damage to corrugated loads.
This can then be integrated into our stretch wrapping technology, the Octopus S series automated spring wrapping, allowing the same load to be strapped and wrapped in one continuous process.
In addition to equipment, we offer all the consumables you need, such as strapping, stretch film, angle board, edge protection, airbags, and other dunnage to secure loads within containers and trucks. At Signode, we deliver a broad portfolio of end-of-line packaging solutions, from equipment and consumables to automation.
