Smurfit Kappa has inaugurated a new corrugated cardboard packaging plant in the municipality of Guarne, Antioquia, which is the most modern of the Group in Colombia.

With an investment of over USD $50 million, this project began at the beginning of 2021 with the goal of expanding the capacity of the plant in Medellín, modernizing its processes to meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging, and maximizing customer experience, offering them this new space where they can experience innovative methodologies and packaging design with exclusive and cutting-edge tools.
