“The test was conducted at a client’s site, which already has an IXS-PAL® Pallegator – a compact line for the automatic assembly of corrugated board pallets. This was the first test on the standard grip section of the automated transport system.
The transition from wooden to corrugated board pallets occurred without any changes in settings,” says Rustem Karimov, head of Karimov GmbH.
“The next test will include the automatic stacking of a transport package with products onto the captured corrugated cardboard pallet.
Our client is automating the transport system in several stages. After each stage is completed, we test the system’s performance on board pallets.
The goal is to ensure that the system can handle the transition from wood to board while maintaining its functionality.”
