Texas Monochrome Revolution: StarCorr Sheets Debuts World’s First BHS Jetliner in Full Production

Temple, Texas — You walk into StarCorr Sheets LLC, and the first thing you notice isn’t the hum of corrugators — it’s the crisp rhythm of something new: The BHS Jetliner Monochrome. The first system of its kind anywhere on Earth. Installed. Running. Delivering.

Craig Fisher

This milestone installation marks a major leap for StarCorr Sheets, a leading North American sheet feeder and proud member of the Corrugated Partners Group (CPG), which is owned by Schwarz Partners Group.

And as Craig Fisher, President of the Corrugated Partners Group, puts it bluntly:

“This isn’t just another machine. This is a revolution for sheet feeders like us. And we’re the first to prove it works.”

Why Monochrome? Why Now?

StarCorr Sheets isn’t some small-town box shop. With over three high-output corrugators running around the clock, they feed sheets to dozens of converters across Texas and beyond.

Their lineup includes everything from RSC blanks to custom die-cut sheets for the biggest names in retail packaging.

So why would a sheet feeder — whose job has always been to crank out plain kraft and white sheets — invest in high-end digital printing?

Craig doesn’t hesitate:

“One word: Value. We’re now able to print barcodes, QR codes, tracking data directly on the sheet, inline, in real-time — without slowing down. That means our customers don’t need an extra converting step. And for some, that’s a game-changer.”

Monochrome at Full Speed

The BHS Jetliner Monochrome isn’t a slow poster printer pretending to be industrial.

It’s fully integrated into the corrugator — producing up to 350 linear meters per minute of digitally preprinted corrugated board. One color, yes. But when that color is applied to variable data, logistics codes, or security markings, the impact is huge.

“We’re talking millions of sheets per month,” Craig notes. “And no plates, no setup waste.”

StarCorr has already surpassed the 1 million sheet milestone printed with the Jetliner Monochrome — and that’s just the first few months.

From Brown Sheets to Smart Sheets

Why is this so important for sheet feeders? Craig explains:

“If you’re in the sheet business today, you know customers want flexibility. Yesterday it was just plain brown board. Today it’s smart packaging: tracking codes, customer engagement, anti-counterfeiting.”

Connected through BHS Corrugated’s PackSuite Workflow and Printer Control Center (PCC), the Jetliner Monochrome allows StarCorr to manage jobs digitally — no guessing, no manual setups.

“That’s what makes it revolutionary,” Craig adds. “We can run from job to job with zero downtime. Sheet feeders are no longer just ‘commodity suppliers’ — we’re part of the smart packaging supply chain.”

Final Word from Craig Fisher

As our quick-fire chat wraps up, Craig leans against the control panel and sums it up:

“In this business, staying ahead means investing smart. BHS gave us a tool no one else has — yet. And we’re already seeing the payoff.”

“If Mark Twain were here,” Craig laughs, “he’d probably call it ‘printing plain talk onto plain board.’ But that plain talk is worth a lot of money these days.”
