UFP Packaging to Install North America’s First 4 Color Cuir MRV I/O

“The Jeffersonville (Indiana) facility in the Midwest is impressive. Both groups have strong ambitions, making it a significant partnership to bring new equipment to the French manufacturer after 25 years without new equipment in North America,” says Fabien Val-Duprez, Président of CUIR CCM.

“Among the options they chose is the Carbon Fiber Anilox from Pamarco, weighing 24 lbs per anilox, which allows for fast changes between jobs.”

“The Cuir MRV I/O is a flatbed die cutter with high-graphics independent bottom or top printing units. Here are some key features:“

• Sheet Size: • Mini: 21.65 x 19.68 inches • Maxi: 51.18 x 66.14 inches
• Corrugated Board Thickness: 0.035 to 0.27 inches
• Printing and Die-Cutting: In-line printing and die-cutting with top or bottom printing options
• Feeder: Vacuum rolls feeder with direct brushless motors
• Register Control: Automatic register control with a precision of +/- 0.01 inches
• Inking System: Chamber Doctor Blade inking system in carbon fiber
• Cylinders: Nickel-coated plate and impression cylinders
• Settings: Centralized settings through Supervision from Wonderware, with memorized settings and jobs
• Delivery: Multi-outs delivery in counted batches
• Additional Options: IR and/or UV dryers, cameras, automatic washing system, quick change of anilox rolls, dual face dust remover.
